Now, there's no need of fearing death. Now, of course, we do... We, none of
us want to, what we call die. But do you know that if a person is borned again
he cannot die? How can he have Eternal Life and then die? He can't do it.
The only thing is death... The word "death" means "the separation."
Now, he'll separate from the presence of our eyes. But he's always in the
Presence of God, and always will be. So death isn't a hard thing. Death is
a glorious thing. Death is what takes us in the Presence of God.

And that's when He made that wonderful quotation that we have in the Scripture,
"He that heareth, he that believeth on Me, has Everlasting Life; shall
not come into the judgment, but's passed from death unto Life. I am the Resurrection

And whosoever liveth and believeth in Me, shall never die." See? Never
die, there's no... There's really no death to a Christian. He...
Death means "Eternal separation." And now as when we are--die, like
in the physical body as we are now, we are separated from one another. But
it's really this body is the only thing that identifies us to each other,
because we are bound in five senses: see, taste, feel, smell, and hear. And
as long as we can see or feel one another, why, we have evidence that we're
here. If you're blind and can't, and--and can't see, then you can feel one
another, and we--or hear one another. And the earthly senses declare one another.

Death means separation. He only separates from our seeing, but he's always
alive. "He that heareth My words and believeth on Him that sent me has
Everlasting Life, and shall never come into condemnation but's passed from
death unto Life." Oh, I--I believe that. We can't die: got Eternal Life.
Eternal, anything's eternal never had a beginning or an end. So that's God's
Own Life. Eternal Life comes from the Greek word there, "Zoe" which
means "God's Own Life" is in us. And when we come sons and daughters
of God, then we live just as God lives: can no more die than He can die, so
we're part of Him. Aren't you glad to be sons and daughters of God? What a
wonderful thing.

And remember, you've got to settle up with God someday for it. "And the
wages of sin is death." You don't make nothing here on earth by it. It's
a false mirage. Drinking will only add sorrow. Sin will only add death upon
death. And your final check will be separation from God eternally into the
lake of fire. And you cannot gain anything, but lose. Then God comes and asks
the question, "Why do you spend your money for those things that satisfies
not? Why do you do it?" What makes man want to do it? They spend all
that they got, and all that they can earn to buy drinking, to clothe some
woman that they run with, or some kind of a worldly, lustful pleasures.
But we are told in the Bible, and are bid to come to God and to buy eternal
joy and Eternal Life, without money or without price. Those things cannot
satisfy, and the end of them is eternal death. And it costs you all the money
that you can muster together to be the--the big shot of the entertainment,
or the fun-boy, or whatever you might be, or the popular girl, or whatever
it is. It costs all you can get together to do that. Dress in the very highest
of dressings, and--and do the things that the world does, only to reap a check
of eternal damnation.

I believe that the Bible plainly states here, that he that overcometh shall
not be hurt by the second death. Now, "death." The word "death"
comes from the--is this; it's "separation." Now, when we are separated
from God in sin, we're already dead; the Bible said so. We're alienated from
God; we're cut off; we're dead in sin and trespasses; we're an alien to God
and to His commonwealth. And then when we receive God and have Eternal Life,
we are His children and a part of Him.

That's His first coming. The second coming is the rapture. We meet Him in
the skies, immortal. His third coming, He's the incarnate God (Amen. Yeah.),

Fourth stage of the rider... Watch. The fourth stage of this rider is called
death. Death means eternal separation from God. That's what death means: to
be eternal separated from God.
Now, if we place this fellow out, class... If we have showed by the Bible
who that fellow is... And we even took the hills, the place and everywhere
just exactly in detail right on down. And now, he's called by the eagle, death.
That's what He calls him. Remember, here... See, death is eternal separation.
Remember, saints don't die. They sleep, not die. "He that heareth My
words and believeth on Him that sent Me has Eternal Life." That's right.
"Shall not come into the judgment but's passed from death unto Life.
I am the resurrection, and life," said Jesus; "he that believeth
in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth
in me shall never die..." Lazarus' dead? "He sleepeth." "Fear
not, the girl's not dead, but sleepeth." They laughed Him to scorn. Is
that right? Oh, my. See, saints don't die. Separation from God is death, eternal
death, and this fellow is called death. So keep away from him.

There's where the hybreeding come: didn't come through Adam. Shame on you
who don't see that. See? It's not Adam's fault. He had nothing to do with
it. If death come by Adam, then it come by God. Death come by a crossbreeding.
Death can't come by God's Word. Death comes by crossbreeding It to denominations
and creed. Instead of Christ, dogma, instead of the Word. It doesn't come
by the Word. The Word is Life. Jesus said, "My words are Life,"
and the Spirit quickens that Word and makes It Life. To crossbreed It, there's
where the death comes from. And if Adam, be God's Word, His spoken Word, His
original Seed (for He was the first, then by creation), then His second Adam
was also by creation, spoken Word. You follow? Now, Adam did not deceive--was
not deceived, but His bride was deceived. Christ today is not deceived. The
Word is not deceiving. It's the bride that's doing the deceiving by the Word.

Now, what has science brought to us? Now, you may be shocked just for a moment.
Science has brought to us sickness, death, and diseases. Now, you're only
been taught one side of the picture. But there's two sides to it. You say,
"Science has invented this, that, and the other." Well, we're going
to grant you that privilege. But let's look at the other side. Science has
brought us sickness. Science has brought us diseases, death.
Look. Scientific hybreeding has brought death to the generation, of foods
and things. It's got the people so soft and so, until the--the men and women
are made up out of a bunch of muck, and there's no--there's no--there's no
structure in it. It's become a bunch of soft jellyfish. They can't live without
an air conditioner; they perish. They can't play a baseball game. If one of
them gets tapped somewhere, it kills him in the boxing rings and whatmore.
And it's so soft till men and women, well, it's perverting them.

right down to the greatest deception that the world has ever knowed of. No
matter how much the Word of God promised for this day, is preached and vindicated,
they still won't believe It. They won't believe It.

We see this age that we're living in. It's one of the grandest ages of all
ages. This Laodicea church age is the grandest of all the church ages, because
it's the ending of time and the blending of eternity. And then, it's the greatest
sinful age. There's more sin in this age than there's ever been. And the powers
of Satan is--is many times harder to fight against than it was in any age.
See?

Notice, not what someone has said, what someone called, but what God chose
before the foundation of the world, and is calling these people in the last
days: not an organization, a people for His Name. And this evil age is when
He's a-doing it, this very age of deception. Last week, in Matthew 24 it was
the most deceiving age of all ages. All the ages of deceit from the garden
of Eden all the way down, there's never been an age so deceptive as this age.
False prophets will rise and show signs and wonders, if possible, to deceive
the very Elected. See? Now, just a cold, formal, starchy churches and so forth
of manmade theology, that wouldn't--the Elect would never pay no attention
to that. But it's up there almost like the real thing. Just leaving out one
word is all you have to do. Promised of the age, very great time... Christians
everywhere, take heed to the hour we're living. Mark down, and read, and listen
close.

Not pretty, but character, God looks at character. Man looks at natural beauty.
It's deceiving. And that's why a woman was given that beauty for deception,
to deceive. A beautiful woman, if she don't use it in the right way, it's
a curse to her. That'll send her to hell quicker than anything else I know
of. If she just--if... She could be pretty, sure; as long as she stays with
her husband and does what's right, and that--that's fine and dandy. But she
can take that same thing, and, my, how she can deceive with it, for it was
give to her to do so.
Notice now, but God is featured in character. There was no beauty we should
desire Jesus, but there never was a character like Him on the earth. Now,
we find out today that the--the church character, Satan and his group, look
after big beautiful churches, beautiful things. That's what the world looks
at today. Oh, if the pastor, the great So-and-so times So-and-so, so priestly
and godly, walking out in these big robes and things like that; they call
that beauty. But the real saints of God looks for the character of the vindicated
Word.
That's what the saints did in that day when they seen Jesus. He wasn't nothing
to look at, but they seen God was in Him; they seen God was with Him.

Notice, all nature runs in continuity. If He'd have made the woman in the
same original creation, there'd have been no sin, because she couldn't have
done it. She couldn't have done it. She is a perversion of the original creation.
So is all sin a perversion of the original truth. What is a lie? Is the truth
perverted. What is an adultery? Is the right act perverted. So there is the
perverted creature; there is the perverted whole thing. And the whole thing
is spelled s-i-n. Laying right there... That's why the question's so great.
Only a piece, scrap, made of a man, to deceive him by, God made it. Right
here has proved it. That's what she was made for. An immoral woman is the
lowest thing that can be thought of in the earth. Excuse this, young ladies.
She's nothing but a human garbage can, a "sex exposal." That's all
she is. A immoral woman is a human sexual garbage can, a pollution where filthy,
dirty, ornery, lowdown filth is disposed by her. Why's she made this way for?
For deception. Every sin that ever was on the earth was caused by a woman.
POWER.OF.TRANSFORMATION.title

The enemy uses deception, like he did to Eve, "Oh, God has said? Surely,
but--but surely..." See, see? Trying to reason it beyond what God said
originally, "Thou shalt die." He said, "Yes, God said that,
but surely..." See that spray over it? See? But what God says, God keeps;
He don't need any help from Satan. He keeps It. So don't never be deceived
by that. Now, we notice then, that it brought forth of its kind. Now, in Genesis
here we find out after the spraying of this poison of knowledge... Now, science
is knowledge. And all we hear is science, science, science, science, the great
subject in school, science. Today, a better automobile, a better this, a better
home, a better house, a better this, a better that. What are we doing? Dying
all the time. Created an automobile, we quit walking; quit walking, we would
turn to blubber. Well, we don't have men anymore; we have jellyfish. That's
right.

Now out of this first key that we have received of the Lord, there comes another
and slightly less wonderful truth. I said that the True Church would always
try to be like it was in the Book of Acts. That is exactly right. But we have
discovered that the Word also teaches an invasion of error until there is
a complete blackout of truth in the last day when the Lord is about to appear.
The question now arises in our minds; does God forsake His own and let them
fall into a state of complete deception? On no account, for the Scripture
says very clearly in Matthew 24:24, that the `Elect' CANNOT be deceived. "For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, they shall deceive
the very elect." What then? The answer is clear before us. There is a
True Church and a false church. There is a True Vine and a false vine. But
of course that false church, false vine body, will always try to usurp the
position of the True Church and contend that she, and not the Elect, are the
real and authentic. The false will try to kill the True. That is how it was
in the Book of Acts, that is how it is set forth in the seven ages, and that
is how it is declared in the various Epistles. That is how it has been. That
is how it is now. That is how it will be. It can't change.
Demonology

Now, for a few minutes we're going to speak on Demonology. You hear so much
about demons. Now, tomorrow afternoon we'll probably finish up. I wanted two
days of this week anyhow, to preach on this. Just... or two days for afternoon
services to talk on this. Now, the first thing, what a demon is. You hear
so many people talking about a demon. Well, now, a "demon, devil,"
all comes from one word, and in the English it's called "tormentor."
A fellow that torments is a devil, a evil one. He, say... Now, the Bible today
is to most, to many people, is some old back Book that grandpa and grandma
read, or something like that, "There's not much to it; it's for the old
folks, and so forth." But that's wrong. It's for everybody. And demons
are tormentors that torment us.

Now, taking this subject of demonology and speaking about demons. Now, people,
when you say "demon," right quick they begin to think, "Oh,
some fanaticism or something." But demons is just as real as Angels;
they're just as real. And the Devil is just as real a devil, as Jesus Christ
is the Son of God. He's a devil. Heaven is just as real. And if there is no
such a thing as hell, there's no such a thing as heaven. And if there isn't
an eternal blessed--eternal punishment, rather, there's no eternal blessed.
If there's no day, there's no night. See? But as sure as there's day, there's
night. As--as soon... As sure as there's a Christian, there's bound to be
a hypocrite. As sure as there's somebody that's genuine from God, there's
somebody to impersonate that. See? It's just exactly pro and con, black and
white, right on down through life on everything, true and false everywhere.
And there is a false Gospel; there's a true Gospel. There's a true Baptism;
there's a false baptism. There's a make-belief, and there's a real. There's
a true American dollar; there's a false American dollar. There's a genuine
Christian, there's a genuine hypocrite (See?), that's just impersonating.
So you find that, so it all goes together. Now, we can't separate it; God
lets the rain fall.

Now, all sickness, we have to find first that all sickness came from the Devil.
God is not the author of sickness. No sickness comes from God. God sometimes
permits Satan to put sickness on you as a whip to bring you back to the house
of God when you disobey Him. But sickness in its beginning come from the Devil.
Could you imagine a person would believe that God our heavenly Father would
be the author of such a thing as sickness and death. Well, no, He isn't, never
was, never will be. God permits death because of disobedience. God permits
death.

As we explained it last night, the medical term of how that these things was
perfectly demonology called cancer, tumor, cataracts, and tuberculosis, pneumonia,
so forth. It's demons. Now, the thing it is, is a... is to get the difference
between what is the Spirit of God, and what is the spirit of the Devil. And
then by the atonement in Calvary, that Devil is cast out. And I'll assure
you, if the believer will come and believe, right here presently no matter
what's wrong with it, it'll take place right here. That's right. You've never
seen it fail, and it--and it won't. But now, if you go out of here and disbelieve,
or with just a little weak faith, it'll come right back on you, even worse
than what it was in the first place. For the unclean spirit goes out of a
man, he walks in dry places. Is that right? Then he returns back, and if the
good man of the house isn't there to keep him away... You must take God at
His Word, not your feelings, but take God at His Word. Your faith keeps him
away. Just refuse it. He will torment, and peck at your door, and haunt at
your windows, but just turn your head and keep on looking forward towards
Christ and going on.
ENTICING.SPIRITS.title

Now, we've applied it in a healing service, always to the healing side: cancer,
tumor, cataract, tuberculosis. All those things are not natural things; they
are supernatural and are demons; the Scripture plainly vindicates that. But
that is demons in the body with growths like cancer, got life in it, and the
life of that is a demon. Growth of a cataract, the spread of tuberculosis,
and, other diseases; it's demons. That's in physical form.
Now, this morning we're going to talk--talk about demons in the spiritual
form in the soul. They're in the soul the same as they are in the body. And
we're bound to admit that we see them in people's body, such cancers and--and
different diseases that's in the human body. Just recently, even cancer has
been declared to be a fourth dimension disease, that it's in another dimension,
sure, it's demonology. Every disease is a fourth dimension disease, the beginning
of it. Now, but now cancer in the body or cancer in the soul, the demon can
come in either place. Now, there's many times and many peoples with good thoughts
that--and good people who try many times to--to rest upon some little theology
they have or something that they have been taught since a child, and still
find that down in their being, down in their soul, that they still have something
that's not right. You... Many are here this morning, no doubt, wherever you
find Christians gathered together you find people who have those spirits in
them that they... It's undesirable. They don't want them. They say, "Oh,
if I could only quit lying. If I could only quit lusting. If I could only
quit this or that." Now, that is devils. And now they come in the form
of religion, many times.
DEMONOLOGY.1.PHYSICAL.title

I've been about seven years teaching across America, having these healing
services. I just got a good notion, starting back across the country teaching
the Bible and on demonology, how the people can understand what to do. And
that's the reason they go to these meetings a lot of times and fellow... If
you don't understand, the people come out... And many times... Now, remember,
that fellow that come and said he had a gift of Divine healing... The gift
of Divine healing was in you if you got healed. It's you, the one. Any gift
operates by faith. And no matter how much gift of Divine healing I got, I
believe it with all my heart. But you could stand here and, if you haven't
got the same kind of faith, it don't do you no good. I could pray for you
for hours and weeks and months. It isn't the preachers with the Divine healing;
it's you that's got the gift of Divine healing, that believes in being healed,
'cause it's by faith. By faith... Every operation of God is by faith. The
whole armor of God is by faith. We haven't got one natural thing of this world.
Everything of the Christian church is a faith act. Look at the armor of God,
love, joy, peace, long-suffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience.
Is that right? Everything's supernatural, nothing natural. So we don't look
at the things natural, because we're operating supernatural. And the only
way we can base it, is faith, is on what God said was the truth, and we look
at the unseen.
DEMONOLOGY.2.RELIGIOUS.title

Let me stop just a minute to get this demonology down just a little bit. She
was a demon, but she was in close contact with the spirit world. Now, today
there's many spiritualists that know really more about the spiritual world
than people who profess themselves to be Christians, yet she's a demon. In
the Bible times it was the same thing. When Jesus was here on earth, there
was them professors, and scholars, and teachers, some of the best there was
out of the better seminaries than we could produce today, and holy, renowned
men; they had to be. If a Levite was found... He had to be found blameless,
righteous in every way. And yet that man knowed no more about God than a rabbit
knowed about snowshoes. When Jesus come, he failed to recognize Him, and he
called Jesus a devil. He said, "He's Beelzebub, the prince of the devils."
Is that right? And here come the lowest type of a demon that had a man bound
out yonder in the tombs, and everything, and they called out, the devil himself
said, "We know Who You are. You're the Son of God, the holy One."
Is that right? Witches and wizards, devils recognized Him the Son of God;
while educated, theological seminary preachers recognized Him to be Beelzebub.
Which was right, the devil or the preacher? The devil was. And, brother, it
hasn't changed too much today. They don't recognize the power of God.
QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.title

Now, we're starting off on demonology to start with. Now, demonology is a
great thing. (Now, some of you watch the clock and don't let me go too long
on one question.) But those demon powers, those spirits was in a man called
Legion first. Isn't that right? And because his name was Legion, because "Legion"
in the Hebrew means "many." See? There were many of those. And those
spirits that was in that dear man had drove him insane. And if anyone ever
seen an insane person or had to deal with them, they're many times their--their--their
strength, because they are so possessed of the devil. If you was ever around
where a--a person lost their mind, oh, it takes several good men to hold them.
And they are twice or three times their power.
475-34 021 Now, when a person is crippled and the Holy Spirit gets ahold of
them, if the devil's got that much power to make a man three or four times
his human strength, how much power can God put in a man? See? That's what
comes upon him to make him walk in the strength of God, where he's been laying
crippled for years. His bones come out straight; his hands goes straight;
he walks, and like a young new man, because the power of the Holy Spirit is
on him. Now, these was so evil, until they wrapped the man in chains, and
he could break them. And they said he plucked them asunder. And there was
no--nothing could bind him. He was really a real bad case, because he had
a legion of demons in him. And then, when he... Jesus crossed over and come
into Gadara and started down by the tombs... And he was so evil, not the man
(See?), the man was all right. It's not the man. When you see a person like
that, don't never think that it's the man; it's the devil that's in the man.
Now, that maniac on the platform that night was going to kill me up in Oregon...
That man, I--when he come to me, instead of him spitting in my face and calling
me a snake in the grass before nearly ten thousand people; well, it wasn't
that--it wasn't the man. He's a man that eats, drinks, sleeps, perhaps with
a family, and loves, and--and just like I am or you are. But it was that devil
in him that was doing that. See? And you never cast a devil out by the wrong
attitude. It takes love to do that. And love is the most powerful force that
there is in the world. Now, if you notice, a devil is always hate. Hate is
of the devil. And when people hate someone, remember it is a terrible devil
to despise or dislike. You mustn't do that.
STANDING.IN.THE.GAP.title

Well, to my brethren, world over, I want to make this confession. I--I humbly
say it, that that's just about what I was doing or fixing to do. I had been
preaching for years, and I--I had become an old man and an old veteran preacher.
I had a lot of hard battles and I'm... May... I'm scarred, all cut up on the
inside from fights. Because my lot, that the Lord gave me, was not back to
kiss the babies, and--and to marry the young, and bury the old. But it was
to hold a two-handed Sword at the battle front against the wiles of--of paganism,
and demonology, and--and the powers of darkness, and fight it with the Word
of God till I seen the enemy defeated. I've been cut deep many times. Then
when I come with the Message in this day and have said to the church the things
that I am about to say... And I predicted years ago when the Holy Spirit called
me to this work. And there isn't a person living on earth today, that could
ever say that the Lord ever let me tell you anything in His Name, but what
it come to pass just exactly the way it was to be done. How that He sent me
out first, and the first gift, and the second gift... And the things that's
been said or done the world over, and literally millions have come to Christ.
And tens of thousands of preachers inspired, that started a revival that'd
sweep the entire face of the earth today. And being that the Pentecostals
was the one received my Message, they's the one that's gained ground. The
Pentecostal church shows more conversions than the... Little group of Pentecostals,
than all the rest of the churches put together. That's statistics. Why? Because
of them receiving truth and receiving a revival.
Denomination

This is an interdenominational tabernacle. We are not against denominations,
but we're--we're not for them either. We just let them go their way. We believe
in taking the people... If they want to go back to denomination, all right,
as long as they live a Christian life. We just--just a soul-saving station
here. That's what my ministries is to them.

And when you try to confine God to one little denomination or one little action,
you're limiting yourself. God covers all places, He... He's everywhere. God
is all powerful, omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient, knows all things, can

so forth, try to say that we are a Pentecostal organization. That's a error.
We... You cannot organize Pentecost. Pentecost is an experience for all believers.
See? It's an experience. I have many Anglican friends who has the Holy Ghost.
I have many Methodists... I just helped lead four hundred Lutherans to the
baptism of the Holy Ghost. See? And so there's a whole Bethany College received
the Holy Ghost at one time. So, see, it--it's not a--an organization, it's
an experience for anybody that wishes it.

the courts as an organization, a group of people that's organized together
to worship Christ, but we're not in a denomination. No one is going to dominate

and this becomes their home church, if they wish to come as long as they live.
And they can come here and disagree with everything that we preach. That's
perfectly all right. You still, as long as you are a Christian, you've got

I believe in baptizing by immersing by water, and you believed in sprinkling,
and stayed right on it, we'd still be just the same as we was if we both agreed.
We might not be able to see eye to eye alike, but as long as you are a Christian

have any denominations, because I think that denomination separates brotherhood.
Some of them say, "Well, we ain't got nothing to do in that revival;
that's a Methodist revival. Well, that's Baptist; we ain't got... We're Methodists;
we ain't got nothing to do with that." Brother, if Christ is in it, we
got--we got all to do with it. We got to put our... It--it's the body of Christ
that is--is suffering. And I see that so much in the lands today, to how that
we have... Now, Christ never did at any time ever organize any denominational
church. Now, just let that be well assured.

You see where we got on it? Oh, some of us spoke with tongues; we had shouting
spells and things like that, and denied all these other things. We suffered
everything that wasn't in the Scripture to come into the church. Where we
got to today? We're back to another desert, dried up organization. We organized;
we lost our Water. That's exactly what Pentecost did. When it begin to organize,
it begin to break up fellowship, and saying, "Well, now, we won't associate,
if this guy believes that." Go ahead, stay with him till he comes to
the Word of Truth, the knowledge of Truth. Whatever it is, let it go anyhow.
Just go on, be as brothers. But, oh, we had to organize, and say, "Well,
because you're not Oneness, because you're not Twoness, or Threeness, or like
this, we won't have no fellowship with you." Then when we do that, what
do we do? We bring ourself right back to a desert again. That's right. But
remember, when Israel wandered off of the path, the course to the promised
land, the Rock never left them; It stayed right there; so did the water. So
is the Holy Spirit, is staying right there. We don't have to wander back.

tattlings, and backbitings, and all kind of ungodly things. Brother, that's
sulfuric acid in the church; it's demon power. Spirit of men and women who
get among one another and try to push off and say, "This one's not right,
and this one's not right, and that's not right." If you'll chase it down,
nine times out of ten, it's the very person making the stir that's not right.
Amen. God hates discord among brethren. Be reverent. Be holy. Love God. Stand
by Him. And as long as you know your life is divvying up with the Bible with
purity of heart, purity of thought, love towards your brother, trying your
best to upbuild the Kingdom of God and doing those things, dressing right,
living right, talking right, going to right places; then you can have all
the emotions you want to, and everybody will believe it.
Jesus said, "You're the salt of the earth, if the salt lost its savor,

of man." If you're just salt alone, it's no good. But if you got the
savor in it, you'd be salty and the world will be thirsty. You get salty;

Sure they're married. As long as they take that vow, they're married. Just

is give you a--a bill of rights to live together to keep from being common-law
husband and wife. But when a man tells a woman, "I will marry you, Honey;

Them denominations added dogma. And to do this, to add dogma, the only way
that any church, the only way that any denomination can ever get away from
the Word of God, is to add dogma instead of the sacred Scriptures, is to try
to make your tradition or the doctrine of your church, though it be contrary
to the Scriptures. Then how can you condemn the Catholic church, when you're
doing the same thing they did? Do you understand? All right. When... Now,
just think, the Scriptures can't fail. Dogmas is a lie to begin with. And
when you accept a denomination, you've already got a dogma, because it's something

He is the Dynamics of the mechanics. The mechanics of the Church, what is
it? Apostles, prophets, teachers, so forth. And He's the Dynamics that works
that. And it's worked by a certain dynamic which is called like... He--He's
the Fire that fires off the gas. He's the Fire that's in the combustion chamber,
that when the--the gas, the--the Word, is poured over that combustion chamber,
He's the One that sets Her afire. He's the One that confirms it. He is the
power of the resurrection. He is God. He's--He's the Fire; that's what He
is.

Moses looked one day; he seen a Pillar of Fire. It attracted his attention.
This great theologian, he had run with all of his theological training, and
his understanding by his mother of the Word Itself of how that he was to deliver
the children of Israel. But when he tried in his way, he failed. And although
his mother had thoroughly instructed him on what to do, and what he would
do, and what God had raised him up for, all this knowledge, as good as it
is, and it is good, but yet it had to be set off. That was only mechanics.
Mechanics ain't what runs the automobile. It's the dynamics that runs it.
The mechanics don't run the church; it's the dynamics, the Holy Ghost that
gets into this Word. It's not a seminary that teaches you all the theology
and the Greek interpretations. But it's the dynamics of the Holy Ghost in
there to set that afire and to bring it to pass, and to make it live just
exactly what the promised Word is for this hour: not the mechanics; the dynamics.
It takes mechanics and dynamics, the Word and the Spirit; they are the One
that gives Life.

In this hour, brother, when we wonder what's the matter with our revival,
what's the matter? We got the material and everything; we got the mechanics,
but where is the Dynamics? That's what we need to move Jesus Christ in on
the scene. What's the matter? I tell you, there's One here today (Hallelujah.),
called the Holy Ghost, that can touch the Dynamics. He is the Dynamics of
the mechanics. We stand today, us Pentecostals, one of the greatest churches
in the nation, thousands times thousands added each year, but where is that
Holy Ghost? We've accept it by speaking in tongues, and we seen how it's acted.
Methodist accept it by shouting. Luther accept it by faith, and so forth like
that. That isn't It. It's the Word. It's the Word turned on, the Light turned
on the mechanics and they become Dynamics. They're Dynamics, when the Dynamics,
when the Dynamic comes to the mechanic. It starts the thing rolling. That's
right. Take the Word. If there's one little thing missed up on It, it won't
start. Lay aside every weight, every ism, every creed, that the Dynamics,
the Holy Spirit, might flow through the Word and vindicate the Word that's
promised to this day; then the great Church of God will rise to her feet like
a jet propelled plane, take off to the skies to meet her Master. That's exactly
right. Until we do that, it won't work.

Until... No matter how much theologians claim, how well you got your church
set, how much education you got, how much like the Bible, until that wave
Sheaf, until the Holy Spirit comes upon that person to quicken that Word (The
gasoline represents the Word; It's the Truth.); but without the Spirit it
won't move.
We've put too much stress on the mechanics and nothing on the dynamics. It
needs the dynamic power of God, the resurrection power of Jesus Christ upon
the church to manifest and to bring to pass that this is gasoline. It might
be in a gasoline can; it could still be water. See? But the only proof of
it is put the Life on it, and it'll prove whether it's gasoline or not.
And when you try to put the Holy Spirit in a denomination, you're as much
as trying... You can get a splutter; you'll ruin your engine by getting it
full of carbon. But oh, I'm so glad that there is a ten thousand octane power,
the Word of God and the Holy Ghost to light It up and to resurrect the power
of God into a man's life, or a woman's life, or into a church, that shoved
that Cadillac down the road yonder under dynamic power of the Holy Ghost,
which came back and was waved over the people at the day of Pentecost, making
Him the same yesterday, today, and forever.
There was the first Sheaf come up from all the prophets which was the Son
of God, the King of all prophets. There has been churches, churches, brides,
brides, churches, brides, brides, but there's got to come One. Hallelujah.
There has to come a real Bride. There must come One that's not only got the
mechanics, but the Dynamics of It, makes that church live, move in the power
of His resurrection. Until we come to that place, until we find that place,
what good does it do to polish the hubs? What good does it do to give her
a face-lift or a simonize job, when there's no Dynamics in it? No matter how
much the mechanics prove to be right, there's got to be a Dynamics to make
it work. That's what He proved. Hallelujah. That's what Easter proved. He
wasn't only the Word, but He was God Himself, the Dynamics in the Word, that
made the body of Jesus Christ, cold, stiff, and dead in the grave, shake into
Life and rise again, and roll away the stone.
"I am He that was dead," so dead till the sun said He was dead;
the moon said He was dead; the stars said He was dead; all nature said He
was dead. And now, the whole world has to recognize that He's alive again.
He was not only the Mechanics (God's Word), He was the Dynamics to prove It.
And if He, being the Groom, the Bride has to come forth, 'cause It's part
of Him. And It can only be the manifestation of the fulfilling of all of revelations
and the others that spoke of the Bride. And It can only manifest... And if
it does something different from the Groom, it isn't the Bride, because She's
flesh of His flesh, bone of His bone, Life of His Life, power of His power.
She is Him. As man and woman are one, and woman taken from his side, She has
taken His Spirit (the feminish Spirit from Him), the flesh from His side,
made both mechanics and Dynamics, the Wife--the Spirit of Him and the flesh
of Him and put it together and made mechanics and Dynamics.

18-1 048 Until the church or the people... All these Easter bunnies, and ceremonies,
and big churches, and finery will fail and pass away, until that church becomes
both Dynamics and Mechanics, and the Spirit of God that moved Him to do the
things that He did, if He hit on sixteen cylinders, so will the Bride. Amen.
For He said in John 14:12, "He that believeth on Me, the works that I
do shall he do also, I'll give him a charge of My Dynamics in his mechanics,
that the world will not be able to withstand it, and I'll raise him up again
at the last day."
That's the Easter message: the Dynamics and the mechanics together. The mechanics
without the Dynamics, no good; neither is the Dynamics without the mechanics.
You can scream and shout and jump up and down all you want to, and deny this
Word; it won't do any good. You're just cranking around the--the pistons of--got
spark there to fire, but no gasoline to fire it by. It'll only work as they
come together. Amen. So one will set still and the other one'll go up; that's
the only thing there is to it. Yet they both might look like, both claim to
be churches, both claim to be brides, but one has mechanics and Dynamics.
It brings it to pass. But what He said is the Truth.
It just won't move, no matter how good the mechanics is, until the Dynamics
come. When the Dynamics come, that Fire is made to connect with that octane
in the gasoline. And when that explodes it, it causes a combustion, and that
combustion moves every motion, every move, for He is the same yesterday, today,
and forever. That's the resurrection; that's the real power of God: mechanics
with the Dynamics.
Notice. It's the Spirit that quickens; It's the--it's the spark that fires.
It's not the gas that fires; it's the spark that fires the gas. See? "You
can do nothing without Me, but with Me you can do all things. As (He is the
Word; It's the Father living) Father sent Me, so send I you. As the Father
has fired Me and pushed Me into everything, I do only that which is pleasing
to God. Now, as He sent Me, so send I you with this same mechanics. And it
takes the same Dynamics to operate it. And these signs shall follow them that
claim to have the mechanics. The Dynamics will take its place.

Now, if the Spirit that raised Him from the dead, the Word, the Dynamic of
the Word, dwells in you, It also quickens your mortal body. Now, how are we
flesh of His flesh and bone of His bone? Because (quickly) while we were yet
mortal sinners (mortal, ready to die, these bodies), It quickens that body.
What's quicken? Brings to Life. The Spirit that once liked to drink, run around,
commit adultery, and all these... It's quickened. Why, the thing's died and
you're resurrected. It quickens your mortal body. Therefore, your body is
the temple of the Dynamics. Because why? From the beginning you are part of
the mechanics. Oh. There's your resurrection. There's the church in the resurrection
with Him. These bodies right now are quickened. See? You've heard; you believe;
it changed you from a denomination to the Word. See? The Dynamics, if It comes
upon water it'll just splutter: "Days of miracles is past, putt-putt-putt;
oh, I believe Divine... pomp-pomp-pomp; but they--they don't... pomp-pomp-pomp."
See? but when it hits that one thousand octane, "Whrrrr" and away
she goes. You see? Now. My. The Dynamics strike that... But if It strike a
chicken, It won't do no good. But when It strikes a eagle he moves out (Amen.),
the Dynamics with the mechanics. See what I mean? That is, if he is a true
eagle now, he will understand. Let me straighten a little Scripture here for
you. (I think we're off the phone, but we are still here.) St. John 5:24,
Jesus said, "He that heareth My Word, and believeth on him that sent
me, has Everlasting Life."

So Balaam went down and set up seven altars for the clean beasts of sacrifice.
He killed a ram signifying the coming of the Messiah. He knew what to do to
approach unto God. He had the mechanics just right; but not the dynamics;
same as now. Can't you see it Nicolaitanes? There was Israel down there in
the valley offering the same sacrifice, doing the same things but only one
had the signs following. Only one had God in their midst. Form won't get you
anywhere. It can't take the place of Spirit-manifestation. That is what happened
at Nicaea. They put over Balaam's doctrine, not the doctrine of God. And they
stumbled; yea they fell. They became dead men.
After the sacrifice was made, Balaam was ready to prophesy. But God tied his
tongue up and he could not curse them. He blessed them.
